Responsibilities

Gather all data required to compute accounts receivable (order quantities, discount rates, etc.).

Check the data entered into the accounting system to guarantee the final bill’s accuracy.

Send invoices and bills to customers via various channels (mail, email, etc.).

Issue customer account statements periodically or as needed

Accept various forms of payment (cash, online payments, etc.) and verify their legitimacy.

Send payment reminders and make assigned customer contact.

Update accounting records to reflect new payments, balances, customer data, etc.

Answer concerns and handle complaints regarding billing from customers.

Requirements and Skills

Proven experience as an invoicing clerk or accounting knowledge in general

Compliance with statutes and confidentiality policies

Competent in MS Office (particularly Excel); working knowledge of pertinent software (e.g. Quickbooks) is a plus.

Salary Range
