We are seeking a Product Designer in order to work on various customer-facing products.
The responsibilities include defining product specifications, creating digital or printed drawings, and designing entirely functional products.
In order to be successful in this position, you must have an eye for color and shape and the ability to translate requirements into practical product characteristics.
You will also assist us in developing products that are user-friendly and visually enticing to our potential customers.
Responsibilities
Identify product development opportunities.
Examine how a new product relates to market requirements and consumer preferences.
Establish design specifications based on requests from internal departments as well as external partners.
Research supplies and methods
Sketch prototypes on paper or digitally (using CAD, for instance)
Utilize 3D modeling software for product and component design.
Create prototypes and evaluate their functionality.
Enhance the design of current products.
Collect input from product consumers.
Requirements and Skills
Experience as a Product Designer or also in a comparable position
Professionalism in industrial design
Creative blending of colors, shapes, and methods.
Practical knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) instruments
Excellent understanding of 3D modeling software
Expertise with design applications (such as Illustrator and Sketch).
Time-management expertise
Ability to adapt
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Product Design, Manufacturing Design Engineering, or relevant field
Salary Range
The average monthly salary for Product Designer jobs in Malaysia ranges from RM 2,900 to RM 4,300.
