You must write in English and Malay very well, know a lot about SEO writing strategies, and be able to change your style and tone to fit our target group. Working with our marketing and design teams will help you learn more about our goods and services.

You will also look at how people use our website and other digital channels so you can write data-driven, well-optimized copy that will grab our audience’s attention and help us move up in the rankings and become more visible.

Responsibilities

  • Write copy for our email newsletters, social media posts, etc. that is high-quality, free of mistakes, unique, and interesting.
  • Write long-form copy for our web pages, landing pages, video plays, long-form blogs, etc.
  • Use SEO techniques in your work.
  • Research and check facts carefully to make sure you are correct and successful.
  • Work with your assigned Copy Editor to make sure that the copy meets all standards for language, structure, tone, and information.
  • Work with the design team to choose the images for each copy in order to improve the user experience.

Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Creative Writing, Journalism, Communications, or a similar field
  • Experience writing SEO copy
  • A good portfolio of writing, such as emails, web pages, sales letters, and so on.
  • Excellent skills with grammar, study, checking facts, writing, and editing.
  • Style of writing that works for different groups
  • Knowledge of SEO and copywriting techniques at a high level
  • Self-motivated and good at managing time and getting things done
  • Skilled at writing and content managing tools

Salary Range

The average monthly salary for SEO Copywriter jobs in Malaysia ranges from RM 2,500 to RM 4,000.
