We are seeking a Document Controller to organize, manage, and file project documents.
The person is responsible for composing contracts, archiving files, and ensuring all team members can access all required documentation. To succeed in this position, you must have experience analyzing technical documents and the ability to identify errors.
You will ultimately support our procedures for maintaining transparent, current, and readily traceable documents.
Responsibilities
Documents are reproduced, scanned, and filed.
Check for inaccuracies and edit documents such as contracts
Review and update technical documents (such as procedures and manuals).
Internally distribute project-related duplicates.
Documents are filed in physical and electronic records.
Create templates for use in the future.
Retrieve requested files from employees and clients.
Manage the migration of organization-wide documentation.
Maintain the privacy of sensitive information and agreement terms.
Prepare special project reports as needed.
Requirements and Skills
Proven experience as a Document Controller or comparable position
Knowledge of project administration
Basic familiarity with labor and corporate law
Practical knowledge of MS Office and MS Excel
Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) expertise
Competent typing and editing abilities
Skill in data organization
Attention to detail
BSc in Project Management or pertinent field
Salary Range
The average monthly salary for Document Controller jobs in Malaysia ranges from RM 2,500 to RM 3,400.
