Requirements and Skills
Valid employment history in mechanical engineering
Product lifecycle management (PLM), finite element analysis (FEA), and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) experience are required.
Computer-aided engineering (CAM) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAE) expertise.
Familiarity with 2D or 3D engineering design and manufacturing software (such as AutoCAD, ProE, or others).
Knowledgeable of engineering analysis software (ANSYS, ProMechanic, or comparable)
Knowledge of mathematical computing and analysis tools (Matlab, Excel, LabView, etc.).
Firm grasp of fundamental concepts, such as mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materials science, etc.
Creative ability and analytical aptitude
Capability to convey technical information in a plain and understandable manner
Technical writing proficiency
BSc engineering degree
