Responsibilities

  • Work with product managers and engineers to collect and evaluate what users want.
  • Use storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps to show how design ideas work.
  • Make things like menus, tabs, and widgets for the user experience.
  • Create buttons for getting around the page and search boxes.
  • Make mockups and user interface samples showing how sites work and look.
  • Make your own graphics, such as pictures, sketches, and lists.
  • Produce rough drafts and show them to internal teams and key partners.
  • Find and fix UX problems, such as slow response times.
  • Make changes to the style based on what users say.
  • Follow style rules for fonts, colors, and pictures.

Skills and requirements

  • Proven work experience as a UI/UX designer or in a similar job.
  • Design ideas in a portfolio.
  • Knowing how to use wireframe tools, like Wireframe.cc and InVision, is important.
  • Knowledge of design tools like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop that is up to date.
  • Team spirit and good communication skills are needed to work with different parties.
  • Good time-management skills.
  • Bachelor in Design, Computer Science, or a related field.

Salary Range

The average monthly salary for User Experience Designer jobs in Malaysia ranges from RM 5,250 to RM 7,750.
